The Ladies Category 5 team edge their way through to the semi final of the AA championships after a dramatic win on the third extra hole by Jane Burke.

Norah Mullins got the team off to a great start with a convincing win.  Then Janet McKenna, a rookie who knew here caddy Joan Shields was anxious to get home to Molly who was sick, decided to cut it short by winning on the 11th.  Ev lost on the 16th.  Meanwhile Angela and Vera were role reversing  - Vera play with Angela caddying.  Also a rookie, Vera did very well, narrowly losing on the 17th.  It was a brilliant team effort which couldn't ahve been achieved without the 5 excellent caddies - Peggy, Clodagh, Betty, Joan and Angela.

Well done one and all.  All support for the semi-final in Seapoint would be most welcome!
