Dublin City Ladies Miele Team go marching onwards...

Great result over the weekend for the ladies on the Miele panel, who had a fantastic win over Corrstown Golf Club on Sunday. This victory follows hot on the heels of the win over Newlands Golf Club in mid May and brings the team into the last 8  Eastern Region with over 90 teams statring the journey.

The blistering heat was no deterrant for the pairings involved, with Karen O'Donnell & Brigid Dunne, Kathleen Dunleavy and Shiela Stone winning away In Corrstown - Esme Murphy and Elaine Hartigan, Grace O'Neill and Joan Shields adding a third match at home. Thanks to those who supported, espcially our Captain Ray Colgan and our Vice Lady Captain, Deirdre Kelly - nail-biting stuff apparently for them to watch.

The team now take on a neighbouring golf club - Hazel Grove and the match will hopefully take place on the weekend of 30th/ June -1st. July. Please support us if possible.

Well done to team managers, Esme Murphy and Leonie Colgan who had to juggle the team at the 11th. hour when Tricia Nolan came down with a neck injury.
