Another Fantastic Result for Ladies
That All Ireland Miele Championship competition has had the firm stamp of intention from our very own Dublin City Golf Club ladies team. Having beaten Boystown, South County, Newlands, Corrstown and Hazelgrove, our excellent team of eight golfers took on the might of Donabate golf club last Saturday ......... and decisively won the match.

 

Many many congratulations to Leonie Colgan, team manager and the eight players - Joan Shields and Grace O' Neill, Esme Murphy and Elaine Hartigan, Karen O'Donnell & Louise Murphy, Sheila Stone and Kathleen Dunleavy. Stars.

Dublin City are now one of the last eight clubs left in the competition in Ireland. They play the K Club at the Slieve Russell Hotel and Golf Centre on Tuesday, 14th. August next in the Eastern Regional final. If you are interested in travelling to support and would like to stay in the hotel, please contact Muriel Doyle on 087 418 5113. Excellent overnight rates are available. All support is greatly appreciated.

 

 

The semi-final and the final take place in Mount Juliet on the week-end of September 15th and 16th. 2007.
