Singles Matchplay Athlone – Friday 28th September 2007

 

The Ladies Intermediate team were narrowly beaten by ultimate champions Enniscorthy in the All-Irelandsemi-final held in the beautiful Athlone Golf Course on the banks of Lough Ree.


It was nip and tuck al the way with Enniscorthy taking the remaining 2 matches on the course to win 3 to 2.


There was no shortage of commitment and effort by the small panel of players we had to choose from throughout the competition.


A big thank you to the caddies and supporters from the ladies and men’s sections of the club and special thanks to sponsors Peter Kennedy and M Mostofa.
