Dublin City win inaugural challenge vs. Newlands

 

Dublin City Golf Club won the inaugural "Gong" trophy vs. Newlands on Friday 12h October.  This competition is where the major winners during the year in both clubs pit their golfing skills against each other.

 

Dublin City had a fine score of 406 points against a Newlands tally of  370 points. Highest scorers on the day were Karen O Donnell (19) and Denis Byrne (11) or Dublin City who had a fine score of 47 points.

 

Well done to Ray and Peggy (captains Dublin City) and Sean and Irene (captains Newlands) for organising the day.
