Captains Prize 2008 - Qualifiers
Qualifying for the Captain’s (Paddy O’Brien) Prize final, took place over the weekend. All scores to 76 on each of the qualifying days have made it through plus one score on 77 from Friday. At least 2 players were disqualified for not signing their card or for not signing the book.
The full list of qualifiers will be posted later today (Monday) as will the list of reserves. Any qualifier, who is not available for the final, which takes place all day next Sunday (27th) from 8.45 am, should inform John Curran 086 2338738 as soon as possible.
Any qualifier, who fails to turn up next Sunday without explanation to the Captain or Competition’s Secretary will be subject to disciplinary action.
 
The Competition Scratch Scores (CSS) were as follows :
 
Friday 70; Saturday : 67; Sunday: 67. Handicaps were revised post qualifiers and the latest effective handicaps are posted on the notice board.
