Already it looks like we will have a full field so put your name down immediately if you wish to play to avoid disappointment.

 

Registration opens at 2pm on Sunday and closes at 2.30 pm SHARP. You must register even if your name is on the list. Priority will be given to those who have entered on the notice board.

 

The details are as follows:

 

4 Person Team (any combination of male and or female). Teams will be made up for any individual wishing to play.

 

18 Hole Rumble: 2 Best scores of the 4 at each hole. Stableford, full handicaps.

Semi Open. Members may invite guests.

 

Shotgun Start at 3pm SHARP. You must register by 2.30pm latest.

 

Each 4 person team will be drawn to represent either the USA or Europe and will be matched with a professional player from that side.

 

Each team’s score will be adjusted by the result of their player’s singles match on the final day. For example, if your team is paired with Padraig Harrington and if he wins his Sunday singles match, additional points will added to the team score depending on the match result. If he loses, points will be deducted. (EG if your team scores 92 points and Harrington wins his match 2&1, your total score will be 97.)

 

Points will be awarded to teams as follows:

 

Singles match all square on 18^th + 2 points

1 up + 4 pts - 4

2&1 + 5 -5

3 & 1 or 2 +6 -6

4 & 3 or 2 +7 -7

5 & 4 or 3 +8 -8

And so on.
